After awhile even as fantastic as the ocean is does it get a little boring to take pictures of. This must be one of those days. Also try and open the picture to its own tab. There is a lot of detail that the reduced post size picture can't show. The large image is more impressive.
That is valid feedback. And I do appreciate feedback. With my newer camera I’d have 4K video that I could choose the best still but this was taken before I had that newer camera.
I doubt better quality will give it better feels. It's about composition; it needs something more. If you aim for minimalism, then i get it.
But please don't make a video and then choose image from it, its just....wrong.

No we don't actually live that close to the ocean. It is about 30 min drive to get from our house to the ocean.
Better than me ;-) I have to drive about 4,5 -5h and only if there is no traffic jam. And a actually there is much of it....

Indeed it got better. But it's just too generic.
I would like the wave on the right if it was shot 0.2 sec before.
