Guest post by @ailindigo: Crystalline blue-green

She was in a kind of ruins, or rather, a construction started and then abandoned, a structure in which there were only pillars, not walls or roof but only joints of pillars plus a floor. She was at the same time on the "shore" of a beach facing west, although standing in front of the beach was, in fact, standing on the edge of a pool. The sun was about an hour or two from setting...

They were enjoying the beach just like the rest of the people who were there, they were almost a happy couple, until another couple arrived. She and her partner were the newcomers, and the couple who were in the water were former ex-partners of these. Both couples greeted each other, but her boyfriend kept talking to his ex-girlfriend, a girl with hair as blond as platinum, and then, when she noticed, they were playing in the water with a ball. And it was there when those horrible feelings returned to her, feelings that she did not want to feel but could not avoid, because her intuition told her that she had to feel that way. She felt awful and began fleeing

The floor of the ruins had disappeared, so she began to slide as she could in the thin horizontal pillar that was that edge of pool, trying not to lose balance to avoid falling into the water, which was of a crystalline blue-green color and looked pretty deep. While she slid something incredible happened: That beautiful blue-green water that made «waves» in the sea, that were no more than those kind of waves that are not big enough to break and foam, made a big wave like 10 or 15 meters high just in front of her; for a few seconds she saw the sun shine through the wave and it was beautiful ... the blue-green color of the water looked so much more vivid and beautiful, just as the water looked perfectly clean and transparent... A moment without doubt as sublime as ephemeral, in which time was in suspension and she would never forget...

When she finally reached the end of the ruins she felt sand under her feet. She began to run along the shore of the beach and get away from it all, she saw there was a competition of jet skis on the beach and how everyone was entertained with that; then it was difficult to run, she began to feel things that punctured her feet and by looking down she saw that they were like little silver charms, or at least that's what it seemed, that belonged to the artisans who always sell bracelets and those stuff on the beaches, but these were stuck in the sand with the same distance between one and the other as a rice field, and as if they had once belonged to the sea... then, she left them behind too.
