Thoughts on Steemit - Andreas M. Antonopoulos
Andreas shares his initial thoughts on Steemit a social media platform where everyone gets paid for creating and curating content; and using money to mediate social relationships.

When Facebook launched it didn't launch world wide, they didn't launch state wide, they launched building wide; they went to one campus and annoyed the hell out of everyone in that building until they signed up to the Facebook and then it was useful because at least you knew everyone in the building had it. Its not the team, its not the funding, its not the idea, its not the execution, its the timing, you can have most brilliant idea ever and you're just too early. Google was the 22nd search engine launched, Amazon was 30th attempt at doing home delivery over the internet; nobody remembers the other 29.

In this video, Antonopoulos mentions timing as the most important factor for an idea to work. But is the steemit's timing the right one? This is the big question.
A very nice find, thanks.
