Why the long queues to get Cash?

in #nigeria7 years ago

They are everywhere now. But the ubiquitous ATM machines are either not working, or not up to capacity

So we are stuck in queues wasting precious time.

Nigeria is a Country that still conducts almost all its business (in the informal) sector with cash. The regulator’s policy of daily withdrawal limits hasn’t helped much. The policy was meant to encourage electronic transfer of cash as the cost of production was high.

The economy will suffer if this trend continues.

I think everyone needs to step up their game to reflect time-conciousness in Nigeria including the financial institutions.
God bless Nigeria!

The Nigerian situation is complex one. We seem not to value time in this country. A lot of man hour is waisted depositing and withdrawing money in banks. Getting a driving lisence takes three to four months. Online Jamb registration takes at least 7 working days. Technology is supposed to make things faster, but it seems the opposite is true in Nigeria.
It's high time we start placing value on our time in this country!

We need to get efficient. Thanks for your comment.

You're welcome sir
