The character classes of Steempunk.net [My illustrations + the work steps]
About aristocrats and adventurers.
Hello my dears,
Today I would like to introduce you my illustrations of the two character classes of Steempunk.net.
Well, actually this post will be more about the creative process behind the illustrations.
This image is a conceptual art work from me and serves only to illustrate the two character classes.
The process of creation
The Adventurers
... her outfit is simple but practical.
As she drifts around the world in the search for new adventures, she always carries her important objects with her.
Her cloak, as well as the old-fashioned flying glasses, protect her against environmental conditions.
Perhaps some of you allready know the shotgun, i have allready shared with you in another post:

The aristocrat
... He is a person of public life.
Working in a high function and this is reflected in his equipment which is made from odern and high-quality fabrics that have been processed wto give their wearers an advantage in everyday life as well as in fighting situations.
I also introduced his plasma gun in an earlier post:

The individual work steps:
First, a very rough ski to find the right pose for the character and to determine the anatomical structure.
Afterwards I work out the details like usual.
I followed the sketch with a fineliner. This step is actually not necessary, because then it goes further into the digital processing.
Digital processing
For this step, I used my favorite drawing Application "Artflow".
All lines are adjusted and adjusted if necessary.
Since my tablet is broken, I use my smartphone for this work step (Galaxy Note 3)^ ^
We need some colours!
We made it! ... not quite, because for the last step, our illustration still needs shadows, light and textures to create a 3-dimensional illusion.
Also for this work step I use my smartphone and post-processing apps such as. "Pixr".

Very cool!!! I am so looking forward to beta testing!
