Attack of the Steem Kaiju [ My Orginal Artwork + individual work steps ]

An epic creature rises up.

For some time, I've been following the trialbycomics contests, so far I unfortunately never have the time to participate. But with the current theme "Kaiju" I knew it is so far, I just have to take part!
The word Kaijus comes from the Japanese and it describes gigantic monsters destroying whole cities. Similar to Godzilla or the creatures from the movie Pazific Rim, which I found exorbitantly great! : D

Now I would like to introduce to you the Steem Kaiju:

It is a creature that "teleports" through the galaxy with the help of the fog that it generates. The entire back area is covered with countless growth spheres. Each growth contains the fog of a planetary system of the galaxy. By a quantum effect, the creature then introduces a quantum leap.

The Steem Kaiju is always looking for fresh food in the form of new DNA which it then absorbs.

Because of its enormous size, it leaves wherever it appears, chaos and devastation!

The tail tip is a kind of antenna for raising its prey and the shaperemindes of the Steemit logo.

The individual work steps:

At first, I am thinking roughly of the creature, about the pose, what coarse characteristics do it have? I then put these thoughts in a raw sketch.

First details solidify the character of the sketch.

The sketch is clearly defined by tighter, clean lines!

There are still missing environment details which are added as a last step

The order of the objects to be drawn is determined by a kind of influence Shema: Which object or character has the most influence on its environment is drawn first.
