OUR DUCKS #FEATHEREDFRIDAY 🦆 🦆🦆🦆
#featheredfriday again and I want to thank @melinda010100 and @keithboone for starting and moving on with this great challenge! I enjoy it every week and for you who actually follow my FF blogs know we got ducks 🦆 so in advance sorry for the duck spam!
We came back after a week being in Italy with my parents and even though we also found some ducks in the lake there, our thoughts often wondered off to our home and the 5 rescue ducks we have there in the pond. They are getting big already ( they are 7 weeks )
I had a friend taking care of them and giving them food 2 times a day. But we got a BIG SURPRISE......
When we got home there were not 5 ducks 🦆 but we now have 11 ducks to take care off.
Food is the main factor we know but little D sees himself as their dad. Seven years old and in love with animals. When they see little D or they see me they go and make their own duck noises.
So my entry offcourse is off these adopted feathered friends.
Special oatmeal with water., is made for them with love , twice a day, by little D.

My oldest son (now 17) used to really love ducks and geese. He still does, though he won't admit it anymore.

He is madly in love he sets his alarm to feed them and they can feed them selves now but he feels sooo responsible hahahaha love the dedication
More ducks! They sure seem to like the oats. So happy to see that they are doing so well. Great photos.
They are getting so big and walk up to the door! oatmeal is so much better than Bread , sorry for the duck spam i try to look for new birdies next time
I love seeing them! I've heard that feeding them vegetables is better than bread, too.
Read is bad, it get them obstipated so the porridge is fine but all the feeding makes them grow up so fast and now they jump in the bucket but the lovely way little d is with HIS ducks ( he tells everybody) that caretaking is also a great lesson in life. And don’t tell: but I am just as 😍
Sounds like our chipmunks! They jump in the bucket, too! Little monsters!
For D i hope we get a chipmunk pair in the trees here but thats more forest like , never seen one here. And on the other hand than the zoo in our family would go to big hihih
