Drone flying in Herzliya 2019-07-15
This is filmed live, I strive to move the drone in "cinematographic" ways at all times when I'm doing this. Flying a modern DJI drone (like the Mavic Air I'm using which is over a year old now) appears to be trivially easy. Sure, you can take off and move around in every way imaginable, but getting good pictures out of it is where it becomes challenging. Moving the drone smoothly, showing something interesting and doing that live is a challenge I enjoy.
All while watching that the battery doesn't die when you're 500m out over the ocean because I really don't want to lose this baby!
Sometimes I just take the drone up and stream live. Right now I have to stream to YouTube, the Facebook interface used to show comments right on the screen while flying but YouTube doesn't. I'm hoping in the future I'll be able to stream on 3speak.

New Props?
Yes! The new Master Airscrew props for DJI Mavic Air. Version 2. They're amazing. The sound level is somewhat similar but the tone is way better.
You have to adjust the throttle gain a bit and I feel that the drone now has a slightly lower top speed when flying normally but is the same speed in sport mode. In every other way it flies the same EXCEPT I get 10% or even 12% more flight time. Coupled with my 3 new batteries the drone is a significant improvement on what it was a year ago when I bought it.
