U.S. Open Golf Tournament

Hi friends,

This week, the PGA tour hosts its third major golf tournament of the year – the U.S. Open. The U.S. Open is being played at Pebble Beach Golf Club in California and is sure to be a great event.

The tournament begins on Thursday and goes into the father’s day weekend. There are lots of great storylines to follow – Tiger is expected to play well, and Brooks Koepka has won the last two U.S. Opens, so can he pull off a third in a row? The field is packed with the world’s best players, and there are many people who could play well this week so picking a winner is a tall order.

The course is in good condition but is going to be setup tough – the rough is thick and high, and the greens will be running fast. Scoring should be decent compared to the last few U.S. Opens, and the course is a familiar one to most of the players.

Personally, I am picking Dustin Johnson or Brooks Koepka to win this week, and am looking forward to catching a little of the tournament. I am also playing a FanDuel fantasy competition – here are my picks:
