Car Shopping
Hi friends,
We had some car trouble when we went out to Arizona last weekend and that has got us thinking about a new vehicle.
We repaired our car and it wasn’t too bad of a repair, but now we have it in our head that a new vehicle would be nice... so today, went out looking and test driving. It was a long day, as we wanted to look at a number of different vehicles by different manufactures before making a decision. We left the house at 9am and didn’t finish and get home until 8pm, with a couple of breaks for lunch and a stop by the house.
We ended up buying a new Chevy Traverse - my wife is very happy since she will be the primary driver.
Our plan is to drive this for many years to come as we do not change vehicles often - my truck is up to 180,000 miles but still runs great! I will admit tho that my eyes did wander as the new trucks out there these days are gorgeous (but unbelievably expensive!).

Nice, sometimes you have to bite the bullet. I am trying to get some more time out of my work truck. I am getting out more and more duct tape by the week.

Its amazing the prices of new trucks - I too have looked longingly as my 2005 suburban at times makes me want something newer. We looked at a Traverse and a Journey a few years back - but finding one with a tow hitch was almost impossible locally. Congrats on the new ride !
Yeah, I hear you on the truck prices... so crazy. I love trucks though so not sure if I can go back now.

Good advice. Where I live, you can get a ticket for not wearing a seat belt and using your cell phone driving! You can do hands free on the cell tho 👍🏻
Haha... Same here in my place. I know seatbelts are unavoidable stuff everywhere. But I also know that a mere Congratulation on your new pocession does not make good. So I was just making liltle fun in my reply...
Btw, how is the new car? Looking great? Any plan for a long drive?
