Activision Buyout

Hi Friends,

One of my stocks popped today - Activision Blizzard, ticker ATVI:

The stock popped on news of a buyout by Microsoft at $95 per share. Why the stock didn’t finish the day closer to the buyout price is baffling to me, but I guess I will just hold out for the full price or sell if it gets close to $95.

Microsoft said they wanted to get into the gaming space and be better positioned for all things Metaverse, so this is part of their strategy. Personally, I welcome changes at Activision as it has had management troubles and has been a lackluster stock for me for like 5 years. Maybe I will just roll the buyout proceeds into Microsoft stock....
