this is extremely interesting.
I'm an independent, microbudget filmmaker, struggling outside the system for many years.
Yesterday, I finally stumbled upon Steemit and I already start to see the value of a platform like this and the possibilities for all kinds of creatives and freedom fighters.
It's this kind of information, that really opens my eyes to the platforms possibilities. Not just as a creative, but also as a filmmaker.

Still a lot of 1's and 0's to me, this 'crypto' talk. I'm a creative, not a technician, but I am learning every day and I will be patient.
I don't give up easily. Since I learned my name comes from the Latin 'vincere', to win, I decided to push forward, no matter what.
Do not get discourage. It'll come! Just blog and build followers. Slow at the start but soon the flood gates will be open by a change in the sign-up. Good luck!

I won't get discouraged. I (like to think I) passed that stage and am growing mentally stronger day by day. One of my aims is too help out fellow creatives overcome their doubts and struggles.

I just competed in the 48 Hour Film Project for Greensboro, NC. If you are familiar with that. I have a few years experience with creating short films on zero budget.
Very good! I am familiar with the challenge. Next time you do it, video all your meetings and post them over a week or so then post the finished film. Could get significant rewards to share with everyone! Just a suggestion.
@deanlogic Nice to meet another fellow filmmaker on here! I always wanted to be part of a 48 hour film project, but never got to it. Must be a pretty intense but rewarding experience, right?

Great post ! Today i just lost my job...i worked really hard as a waiter for like 10 years in a restaurant...worked night after night shifts but still they decide they don't need my services anymore and that they don't have money to pay me so they just kick me out . It was really hard for me to find this job because i don't have much education....i did't go to college...
The real problem is that i have a debt of 759 $ to my apartment rent and if i don't pay till the end of the month they gonna kick me out from my own home. I don't have friends and my family won't lend me any money...
My only hope now to raise this money is steemit...i like it alot here and the community is very nice...
Please if anybody would like to help me , a upvote would be awesome and would help me tremendously to raise the money i need .
