It was a very good observation. What I see in movies these days are the creators don't pay attention to the story. But instead they make movies based on situations. Most of the blockbusters are not stories but a situation. A story needs to slowly unfold, but nowadays if you start watching a movie you'll know what happens in the climax. Which I think is very bad in my opinion.
