Who wants a pet minnow??
I am the first adopted minnow on steemit
This is because I am extra cool & funny AKA I can pay attention as well as know how to read instructions!
I am so cool that I want to help other minnows gain exposure & larger heads!
@whatsup came up with this brilliant idea of helping minnows gain exposure via adopting a pet minnow. I was passionate about the project not only for my own selfish reasons, but honestly the more time I spend here, the more I too want to help elevate people as well as teach them a few of the things I have learned along the way thus bringing more people to the blockchain

OMG first of all, these pictures are hilarious. Second of all, I would love to be adopted!! I've outlined some of my goals for Steemit in my first post, but mainly I would really like to share actionable advice on how to work from home, details on how I am moving across the country to New York City (in less than a month!) and other useful information from my day job as a content strategist. I think I could really help people on Steemit develop their voice and structure all of their awesome ideas.
I love talking about business, style and music, especially rap and R&B, and mainly just want to share my passions with the world without feeling like I'm swimming upstream. (Get it?)

Minnows can have pet minnows too! I’ve adopted a few but they always grow so fast!
I would love to know who they are so I can include them in my adopted post! If you have a current minnow pet or your past minnow pets, if you don't have one at the moment I will have a list of rad minnows to adopt
I adopt a lot of minnows who stroll into our Be Awesome discord. Most of them have started to catch up with me. @macchiata is doing ok for herself now. @guyfawkes4-20 is speeding on ahead of me now with sndbox and adsactly!
I’m a pretty small fish myself so it’s not easy to make them grow quickly, but sometimes they do great for themselves!
Can I adopt you back? Adoption for adoption? :D
Of course, like an old grandpa who needs taking care of so he doesn’t lose his sandwich in his pocket!

This is an awesome and fun idea. Yes together we are strong and we can support and inspire each other and this for me is something that can be helpful. So being a minnow myself I would love to help inspire daily and provide nice artistic pictures and Original poetry as well, if anyone has the desire to support a friend like that I'm your man or minnow lol. Steemit is awesome with a supportive self sustainable community. Hope my support of #thealliance and others will help make life more enjoyable and hopeful and down right alil better and super duper awesome.

I've been looking for an adopted parent (sponsor) for 31 weeks! I need someone who will reliably boost my weekly contest rewards so that more and more minnows will flock to my contest and all get a reward of an upvote. Plus, because so many people are participating the rewards will grow and grow. This will help minnows who win get a nice little boost. When there is enough interest in these contests, my goal is to use them to create search engine friendly content that will attract searches from outside the steem community and thus grow its awareness. Everyone wins when the platform grows and Steem is a household word!
I would show my gratitude to my pet parent by being loyal to them to the bitter end.

What I want out of this platform?
If you look at my blog its a little schizophrenic. I like to post whatever I feel like and whatever gets my fancy. I like using STEEMIT more like my social media and less like a blog for profit. (I don't mind profit however)
My potential adopter can expect cascades of flowing prose with lucid arguments on the best BBQ joints and the merits of a good pocket knife. Passionate odes to Star Wars and videos of my kids sports games. Also some quality memes from time to time. And my undying devotion for life. I'll throw in an open invitation to drink beer to any Steemian in Central Texas and some good conversation.
