Hi Steemers & DTubers,
Here is a highlight reel of my son during his last few games as first year Atom A goalie for the Dollard Civics. I am soo proud of what he has achieved in just 1 year. While his team was on the ice 1-2 times a week, unaware by his teammates, he was on the ice for a total of 4x's practicing his little heart out at extra goalie clinics. Like I told my son, always remember "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard." :-) Once I get some views I'll post Vol.1 so you can compare the two. Stay tuned :-)

Great Advice and he certainly has put in that hard work and is seeing results.
My hats off to him, I played field Hockey in Australia, and I've ice skated a bit. But the idea a of doing both together WOWZERS thats some skills right there LOL 😲
But more importantly he had a plan, he worked for it, saw results and that imprinting of success strategy is valuable in all life's upcoming adventures 😉
Thank you so much for the kind words. He started hockey “later” than his counterparts as goaltender. He’s been playing hockey as a forward for 3 years prior. So while the other kids have been goalie for 4 years my son has been only for one under his belt. The hard work put in has him at the same level if not exceed these boys. The plan this summer is to push through have fun and improve the skills and show them who’s boss.... lol
