Beyond Satoshi Nakamoto
Bitcoin was created by an anomalous internal user with the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto". Satoshi is responsible for the original white paper and some of the original code for Bitcoin. However, after the project took off with development from the community, Satoshi disappeared. We're not sure if he or she is has passed away or has decided to go into hiding. We do know that the original coins owned by Satoshi have not been touched in a while.

Hey ,
Thanks for the great content
Satoshi is either dead or he's a jerk. He left us and now at any moment his 1 million bitcoin can move markets at any moments. Who is he? Now he has billions and more coming with forks. I think he should burn his keys or speak up
but he did create the whole thing.. yeah he should do something about his coins though...
Why? They are his coins.. he's not telling you what to do with yours.. is he?
The "man" created one of the most ingenious things to have ever touched humanity, I think he deserves his 5%. To do whatever he damn well pleases with it, I might add :)
Even a statement just promising or just stating what the plan is. Maybe he died and his kids the next Hitler? I know I'm giving extreme example but I know where I'm coming from
Or Satoshi is all of us?
Thanks for the two awesome choices! Welcome to Simple World.
Satoshi could be in a cell at Gitmo, or being blackmailed by some 3 letter agency, etc. Many, many possibilities.
Bitcoin is the first decentralized peer-to-peer payment network that is powered by its users with no central authority or middlemen.it is growing biger every day
yup! it is
Hey Boxmining, I love your videos. You take an all-around approach and seem to put the big picture together better than most. I truly enjoy listening to your approach and perhaps over time I can also show you my perspective. Let me share some of my thoughts with you:
I do believe Satoshi left a goodbye message in this email, he must not be very good at goodbyes:
From: Satoshi Nakamoto [email protected]
To: Mike Hearn
Date: Sat, Apr 23, 2011
"I had a few other things on my mind (as always). One is, are you planning on rejoining the community at some point (eg for code reviews), or is your plan to permanently step back from the limelight?
I've moved on to other things. It's in good hands with Gavin and everyone.
I do hope your BitcoinJ continues to be developed into an alternative client. It gives Java devs something to work on, and it's easier with a simpler foundation that doesn't have to do everything. It'll get critical mass when impatient new users can get started using it while the other one is still downloading the block chain."
If you'll notice the date, it was 4 days before Gavin Announced he was going to the CIA
Satoshi seemed one concerned not only for his own privacy, but the nature of privacy overall and in general. He obviously knew something was up.. the date correlation is too strong. He was on the inside and would be one of the first to know that Gavin was even invited. Gavin likely told him and others first.
Moving on, I think he would be proud of the advancements that have been made in the anonymous crypto-space. That brings me to my next point, which is that while I agree with you in that we must not focus too much on "satoshi's legacy" or "vision", but what is right in front of us right now.. and how we can improve and apply that to humanity. I agree with you 100%.
However, part of the reason Satoshi is of such great admiration to bitcoin enthusiasts is because he did actually care about privacy, he did actually care about decentralization -- which seem to not be the main focus of many serious Crypto-Currencies anymore. ASIC mining and things like Blockstream have all but destroyed the beautiful decentralized nature of Bitcoin. I would like your opinion on which you think is actually the "fairest" of all cryptos, in general, to all humanity? That's a tough one. But it's one Satoshi would most definitely be able to answer after studying this broad market we have now.
If you read the whole CIA thread on BTCtalk, you will find some gems. Many people knew this day would come, they foresaw it and even foretold it in that thread.
Anyways, maybe Satoshi just left and re-entered the scene with his real name or a new pseudonym. Who knows. Maybe 'they' actually took him out and control the million bitcoins and are waiting for the price to be a million per coin so they can have 1tril? The plot thickens. There are many conspiracy theories! Thanks for your insight, as always!

Perhaps... Satoshi might be boxmining! :D
Why is that mug Craig Wright's face in this picture? I hope this is a joke?!
An anonymous angel!
woot!
Satoshi Nakamoto's story is one of the biggest mystery of this decade. Do you guys think we'll know the truth some day?
I have been looking a bit into this after seeing the video. I must say that Craig is the most obvious con man, don't prove anything and gets extremely angry when anybody just hints at scepticisme. Nick Szabo on the other hand...
