INVITATION TO HELL
He, he ... this was a funny discovery ... but ...
... let's start from the beginning ...
... sometimes at night, I like to wander through YouTube in search for obscure stuff ... obscure movies, ancient Interviews with forgotten famous people ... and even more - people I didn't know existed ... or obscure cartoons I never saw before ... old TV shows ... new conspiracy theories ... tasteless jokes or stupid political ideas ... stuff like that ... and so, one thing leading to another ... don't know exactly how or in which order ... I stumbled upon this cool little TV movie from 1984, directed by Wes Craven ... and the main reason for writing about it here, is the cool logo you just saw on the first photograph of the post, I paused the movie and photographed my PC monitor ... is very similar to the Steem logo, first thing that came in my mind was Steemit :D and was very funny to see it in the context of this old movie ...
... it's an inventive horror story about a scientist who goes to work for a big corporation in the idyllic (also a bit to perfect ... and because of that :D pretty creepy) suburban neighborhood, with a posh country club, golf and those things, where the owner, a local femme fatale, lures and pressures the corporation personnel and scientists to enter and be part of the perfect world they deserve ... through a series of events, in search to conform to the new surroundings and neighbors and achieve the social status, the family of the protagonist is initiated in the club ... that actually leads to Hell...then our scientist hero takes some cool SY - FY gear he invented for the corporation and goes to rescue his dearest wife and children ...
... I was very entertained by all this ... INVITATION TO HELL, is a great bad movie in my opinion :D ... is cheap, is filled with recycled ideas and clichés ... but is directed by Wes Craven, a very smart author, so it has a lot of smart and witty touches throughout its simplistic, campy appearance ...
... there is a scene with the masquerade party in the corporation ... and the protagonist comes there in his invention, a space suit that can scan and discover unknown life forms ...
... and he scans this guy in a Nazi uniform ... :D what a cool little moment ...
... on this photograph is the entrance to hell :D so you can see how visually boring and unimpressive this looks ... but ... I still like this movie ...
... at moment is silly, at moment thoughtful ... and, at least for me, never really boring ...
... and the most important thing :D it has a PROTO - STEEM logo in it ... and the unholy Country Club in the movie is called :" The Steaming Springs Country Club "...
... that's it ... my first attempt ever at some kind of movie review ... if you would like to see the entire movie, is easy to find on YouTube, and is there since 2011... as you can see on the following photograph ...

wow the name of the place is even the STEAMing springs? This is clearly evidence of time travel, which bodes well for STEEM's supremacy in the future. Right? Clearly :) LOL
Absolutely revealing :D take a visit to the past if you want to see the things ahead ... this movie is a life changing, maybe even life improving, experience ... :)
