Political Correctness silences people

Hing is absolutely right: political correctness silences people. I would also argue it kills people at times - for example, when it is politically incorrect to inform women that they are, on average, physically weaker than men and thus potentially contributing to some of them entering fights they should have stayed out of. Or when it is politically incorrect to honestly discuss a nurse on whose shift patients die at elevated rates - and said nurse is lately discovered to have been one of the most prolific serial killers in history. And were it not for political correctness the nurse's activities may have come to light earlier, and some people would have gotten to live longer than they did.
In fact, political correctness may be the biggest single threat to the modern Western society.
