"Contest: Prevention of animal labor."

It so sad to see that in some part of the world animal labor have become a normal thing to people which is very sad, God created animals for man to take care of it but unfortunately some of us are using them for our own selfish intrest in order to make money and also benefits from them.

Have you noticed animal labour in your country? How do they engage in labor?

Yes, in some part of my country they are several people who practice animal labour, and I am going to discuss them below.

Using donkey and horse for transportation: Even though we are in a modernised world some places and villages in my country still uses animals aa a mesn of transportation, and also moving their goods from one place to another which is not good at all.
People just stress animal and use them to travel to their destination and they will stills be beating them when there are tired, when I saw how a man was beating his horse because he couldn't run fast I was very devastated and I shouted at him not to ever do such thing ever again.

Exploitation: I know of a man who trains his dog just to benefit from him, infact for long now, he hasn't been feeding this dog and whenever the dog delivers he will sell all the children and eat the money this is a very bad habit and it's going on in many places.
Sometimes the dog comes to our house to eat food and I will just consider her because she is really suffering the hands of her owner.

Furthermore due to the demand of meat, eggs and milk animals go through a lot of difficulties just for humans to consume them and satisfy themselves, just like the fulani tribe in Nigeria that are know for the rearing of cows that produce milk thag we consume today, they beat them whenever they don't produce good milk which is sad to hear.
Again, goats and chicken are killed just for consumption, which is not good at all.
These are the areas of animal labour in my country.

Another one is using dogs as a means of security at home and offices infact the police in my area have special dogs that they use for their own operation during attack from the enemy and sometimes this dogs are shot dead and they will end up loosing their lives, pet are animal that provide us with good companionship and as such we should learn to take very good care of them, but rather people are buy dogs nowadays to guide their compound and properties which is seen as animal labor.

To prevent animal labor, the following should be taken into considerations

• Whenever we see animals that are stranded on the way and they have no place to go, we should try and adopt them and give them a comfortable living.
  If eventually we see animals that are suffering from labor, we should rescue them from it by reporting the issues to government agencies that are in charge of the welfare of animal.

• We should also care properly for our livestock, because I believe some of us are livestock traders and we should try and take very good care of them and make sure that we don't engage them in any form of labor.

• Care for pet animals as if they are tour children, I have seen a women who treat her pet with unconditional love and I admire them alot because they look very good together the cat have really understood her very well.
  Also, we should check regularly about the welfare of our pet by taking them for medical checkups at least once every month.

• We should try and teach our children to love animals very much and thus will really help in reducing this problem of animal labor, because when you love something you will treat and protect it.
  So we should teach our kids how to care for animals.

• As humans we should reduce out taste of animals product, like reducing the way we demand for meat, eggs and milk this way animal labor will be reduced and also be gradually erased from the society.

We should also support animals rescue and also joint hands with laws that promote the welfare of animals.

Yes are alternatives to animal labor because we are in a modernised world and technology have taken over things.
So instead of using animals as a means of transportation we should try and buy a vehicle to transport ourselves and good it better still enter a public transportation that will take us to our destinations.

Instead of using dogs for security purposes, we should employ humans they will guide our homes.

They are now robot that can do almost everything for humans so we should get one for ourselves that will help us to take good care of our home and also do the security duties.
