Summer walk by the White river (part 2)
Today I want to continue sharing photos from a walk by the White River that we arranged with my family last summer.
In general, we visit this place often. And I will share more photos from other walks in future. But it will be later.
Here you can walk along the rocky shore among young poplars. My son and I often played catch-up between them.
You can build a pyramid of stones. Once we did this with children and I even photographed such a pyramid.
You can walk along the river, and in summer in warm weather you can even wander through the water on a shallow slope. Just don’t think that you can walk to the other side on foot. There further the river is deep and has a fast flow. You need to be able to swim well to get to that shore.
And of course you can enjoy the beauty of the river landscape. Stones on the shore interestingly decorate this landscape. I would like to give them more attention when shooting.
Here you can find places with calm water and enjoy the beautiful reflections. Mountains of red clay are also an adornment of this landscape. I think that without them the landscape would not have looked so interesting.
And of course, having such expanse of water in front of you and a rocky shore, you can throw stones into the water. Including throwing pancakes. I do not know how it is correctly called in English. This is when a stone is thrown parallel to the water and bounces several times from it. We often do this with children.
And finally, you can make a big splash! Once, my son and I arranged a whole photo shoot with splashes of water. He threw large stones into the water, and I tried to photograph them. Several quite successful shots came out. Here is one of them.
All in all, this is a great place for family walks. And for photo walks.
That's all for now. There are many more interesting walks ahead!
I strongly recommend to open the photo in a separate tab to appreciate it.
