Summer is a time of warmth and sun. It's great when you have the opportunity to take a walk at sunset. Not so long ago, they wrote a comment to me that city residents are deprived of the opportunity to enjoy the sunsets. However, during one of the walks in St. Petersburg, I just enjoyed the city sunset. This photo was taken during that walk. What do you think, is it really impossible to admire the sunsets in the city?

With your photo you show that even in the city it is possible to enjoy the golden colors of the sunset, of the magic hour. Although the photo is in colors the predominant gold gives some air to monochromatic photo, to sepia. You achieved a very nice effect. Good job. Congratulations.

Pretty unusual combination of just straight traffic of usual cityscape and very unusual and colorful sunset. Good dynamic composition with leading lines. A lot of interesting small details showing the normal life of a megalopolis. And a colorful signal light is just a perfect addition to this colorful phantasmagoria :) Perfect

I guess that would depend on what city and how much traffic there was. There are a few places I would not really want to be walking around at sunset and driving is not that relaxing either. Your picture looks appealing though - it seems like a nice city.

Sure, you are right. It also depends on how much you know how to adjust to the situation and find the right position for shooting. Although to be honest, more often I certainly just shoot as it should, and then select interesting shots

Не знаю как там в других городах, но в Питере и Твери закаты точно отменные.. Особенно хорошо, когда есть более менее открытое пространство. Нева, Волга, широкие проспекты и парки :)
А если ещё и туман при этом... :)

Думаю, что да. Там до конца вроде ещё не доделали. Скорее всего будет и ресторан и смотровая и не в единичных кол-вах.. Пусть может и дорого, но на один раз с пенсии отначить смогу )))
