Hi-Oh!

Today, I'd like to continue where I left off before my "Xtrdonary" adventure to Houston.

Namely, the hurried preparations for a whole bunch of new ducks to our homestead!

As I chronicled before, I had to quickly build some rabbit hutches and learn to sex the rabbits because their former place of occupancy was being turned into the new duck coop.

I was able to get that all accomplished just in time as @papa-pepper arrived with the cargo!

Lots of excitement! It's great to have a friend like Papa-Pepper and to have so many helpful and curious children around to learn to be B.L.U.E.R. than Green!

Stay tuned for an After-Action-Report on the next post!

Sort:

We have muscovy ducks all over the place here in FL. They come swooping in like cargo planes and sit on the rooftops or create little duck dramas in the pond with the regular mallard and mottled ducks.

Are you going to eat them, or just the eggs?

Both! The males(drakes) will be eaten.

indeed its a lot enjoy
