Hope Dies Last !!!

in #marketfriday8 years ago

Today is #MarketFriday initiated by @dswigle (Denise, of course!). This is a loved challenge and an example of how to initiate and support such a thing ... thanks to Denise.

Although almost all of my posts have been about the same classic market where you buy products and then cook home, now I have to get away from that practice and try something new ... as I have seen is the trend now.

Besides cooking, another hobby of mine is to build. Not necessarily for pleasure...as needed. So I became a specialist in different fields!

A good part of my house has been built with my hands.

That's why we needed materials. Fortunately, a store with everything is located very close to my home, Leroy Merlin!

Let's go, choose and buy!

Well, I did not even need those caps, but some bathroom and kitchen materials. I started the search!

I think you agree that when you go looking for something in these supermakets ... you end up seeing a thousand things you do not need ... and you often buy them too!

Anyway, I was in the area that interested me, bathroom materials.

I chose the cheapest product, a sink ... I think we'll survive with that...fortunately I was alone in shopping without a wife, otherwise a lot of money would have gone from my wallet!

Fortunately, for my joy, I also found some roses. Roses climbing! They are my favorites ... they are very small, I will only see next year what I bought, then they will flourish ... but I hope!

I also need a new sink for the kitchen. It will be a more complete work, I will show it in a post later. Now let's look for a new sink!

IMG_20180529_112343.jpg

That's more beautiful ... but more expensive! I think I will choose something cheaper, I prefer to save the money for the future trip to Greece, my dream!

Finally, I chose a square sink, easier to install.

That was all, let's go home, we'll have some work!

Because I was not in my classic market, I did not buy anything to cook.

Luckily, a good friend invited me to eat with him. I love him very much. He is a very special man, he played bass in an interesting Romanian band called Roata (Wheel). We have been friends for over thirty years and it's always a pleasure to meet. I think I will post soon the story of the band Roata and the beautiful friendship story between us.

Do you know the beauty of Steemit? The beauty is that now, when I write this, I am happy, happy for my memories!

But let's get back to the food. My friend Valentin invited me to eat a fish with him. We are both in love with the sea, what the sea offers us!

Well, my friend Valentin is a humorous man. I think we're all mature people here. That's why I can tell you something about my friend. He has named a certain part of his body of man(at sixty years) as: Hope! Do you know why? Because hope dies last !!!

I absolutely love reading your Market Friday post, Dan! I love your traditional market and never get bored of it, but change is fun too. That is the exact same kind of store that I just returned the wood to. It has absolutely everything to build a house. You men love those stores.

I merely tolerate having to go through them. Unless of course I'm in the flower section. I like the choice of sinks that you made, I'm a very practical person, but when I bought this house we have a fancy sink in it, so I was fortunate. I am pretty much a do-it-yourselfer, so I appreciate someone who likes to fix their own things.

They had some pretty amazing things to fit all the budgets there. I am with you though on saving a little bit for the trip to Greece. I will eat half a portion for the rest of my life so I can travel. Travel is so mind-expanding and an amazing experience. I think you're doing it the right way.

You know that your cooking is one of my most favorite parts of your blog however, I think that Valentin did a great job and his fish look amazing. I too will eat anything that swims for a living. Thank you for sharing your time there. I like when males Bond.

You can tell him that hope Never Dies. It's good to have positive thoughts. LOL

Tip!

Everything you say is very important to me. Because I make this #marketfeiday for you ... and for me. Because almost no one reads what I post, there are only a few exceptions. Now I post only for my pleasure, and I like it very much! Not for money, not for the future. I had these hopes, but I abandoned them. I write for you because I know you read. I like to make good posts with all the hardships due to the lack of a fluent English language. I think it's an exercise for improvement. Now I can explain why I turn to bots for upvotes. There are two people who vote for me constantly, each post, they definitely turned to an automatic vote. It's about a Romanian who lives in Germany, @alexvan and a Greek, probably impressed by my love for Greece, @mariossap. There are a few colleagues who vote for me occasionally. You also. That brings me about $ 0.25- $ 0.50 per post. I'm working on a few hours ... up to half a day. I find the answer and interest too small. Then I turned to something that women used to say: Lie me beautiful! So I got to pay for upvotes! That's what the reputation grows, but it consume my money. In the future I see a relatively large reputation, over 60 but no money in my pocket (as it was a part of the aristocracy hundreds of years ago ... when the bourgeoisie appeared with money). I do not consider myself an aristocrat, please believe me, I really do not have how and I am not. It's just a comparison.

In conclusion, thank you for reading me, it's a joy for me. For now, I'm happy for what I'm doing here. Let's hope for the better! As my friend Valentin says, hope dies last!

I understand. I have been disappointed with the slow growth at times, but soon realized that if I did it only for the fun and a connection, I would be so much happier.

I believe that is true!

Yes, I believe the same.

Loved your market trip! And dinner to finish it off too!

You bought some really nice things and the food looks great as always.

The food was great but this time I didn't do it. Thanks!

It's always my pleasure 😊
