The Coolest Wedding That I Have Ever Been To

No, it wasn't me that was getting hitched (I already am, sorry ladies 😆) but my relative that was doing the deed.

This is the lucky couple during a formal dinner after the rehearsal. It's actually happy hour in the street prior to the dinner. They actually closed off a side street in downtown Raleigh for this dinner. Raleigh is the capital of North Carolina and is a very happening place so to actually have a street closed off for drinking and mingling is a pretty big deal.

Off-duty officers were hired to keep random people from walking through and taking advantage of the OPEN BAR. If you ever want me to attend a wedding, then just say those two words and I'm there lol.

There were some talented musicians playing some light jazz beside of the bar.

The dinner actually took place on the inside of the building but there was seating set up in the street while everyone got loosened up. These photos were taken early before everyone got there.

Cobblestone sure is nice looking but it's torture on muh feetsies. The ladies in heels were not fans if it either.

The weather was almost perfect considering a hurricane just blew through the state a day before...Told ya they were a lucky couple.

It's not often I get to see a new Tesla being charged up in the street.

The cool factor about this wedding is that it was held at the Nature Science Museum. The family actually rented the entire building both days for this. I can't even imagine how much crypto it took to secure that deal lol. Here is a few pics of the front of the museum.

This area is in a nice section of the city. Although, you can be in a bad part within walking distance.

After happy hour or two, we then went inside for the dinner. Here is a pic of the stairs leading up to the different levels of the museum.

If you're wondering why they chose this location to get married, it's because the bride is a science freak and the museum is right up her alley. She's actually a biometric something or another...way above my pay grade.
