Egyptian? Really? In London?
Walk Like, an Egyptian!
Egyptian Geese, and Goslings
Birding is always interesting. And sometimes, full of surprises. As some of you know, I traveled to London recently. And what did I see for birds?
Stay tuned for more posts, but, for a teaser, how about some rare birds, and definitely first time for me. I added a dozen or more species to my Life List.
These Egyptian Goose, not native to London, or even the UK, are some of the many lifers I found. I suspect, some ancient king or queen, visiting London and the Court of St. James, dropped off some cool gifts, to the King or Queen of England.
There were a few dozen of these, on my short walk through St. James Park, along the way from the Palace to the Thames.
Stay tuned for more exotic Birds, from even more exotic locales.
To the animals and birds around me
to put more plants in than I take out
And be a good steward for the world around me!
