Bobby's Frozen Custard - A Tasteem Review
Bobby's is a unique small town favorite for frozen custard treats. They make their custard right there fresh every hour so you know you're getting a quality product.
Bobby's is centered around a 50s/60s theme and even have outdoor live music concerts every Sunday evening during the summer season.
There is always a crowd at the windows to be served but it is never a long wait because they have plenty of staff working behind the scenes very efficiently.
The menu is displayed on huge sign boards on both sides of the service windows. The choices are many and it's a hard decision to choose from all the delightful combinations.
Here is my selection for today: Sandy's Dandy concrete, which is vanilla custard, hard shell chocolate, salted pecans, and strawberries.
My husband chose to build his own concoction by chosing from the many ingredients to make his favorite sundae. It is vanilla custard, fresh raspberries, hot fudge, and macadamia nuts.
Whatever you decide, you can't go wrong with a delicious summertime dessert of Bobby's Custard!

Bobby's looks like the place to be.
You should see it on Sunday evenings when they have their live concerts. People also drive their antique cars for showing on concert nights.

Bobby's demonstrates "human excellence" and human beings cannot help but respond with "Admiration," one of the three positive "Other-Judging Emotions." Your post, while not so intending, was the best advertisement for which Bobby's could ever hope. Authentic, and enthusiastic, testament in the absence of motive.
In city after city, you see the same phenomenon: The local restaurant/bakery/ice cream shop that becomes (and remains) a legend, not via marketing trickery ... but by earning freely given salutes.
Such phenomenon scales to every level of human-to-human interaction. Hence, whatever you do in life, strive to be the exemplar. People are awed by the extraordinary as a thing in and of itself.

I haven't had frozen custard before. It looks like a great alternative to icecream.

I was at O'Hare in Chicago in 2009, returning from a trip to Germany, but I hardly ever trek northward these days. I guess I'll have to take Twistee Treat or Culver's for now, and hope Bobby's expands southward someday! :)
Great review. What a wonderful place. Amazing variety. It's like one for each day of the month. I could never have enough of all this. I had never seen a chocolate covered frozen banana. Pretty cool. I actually eat my bananas cold. I put them in the freezer for some minutes and then I eat them
I've never tried one of their chocolate covered frozen bananas, but I'm tempted now.
