Achievement 2 @blessinglepahwah Task : Basic Security on Steem

I greet you all as i write my achievement 2 post. Here is a brief summary of my keys and how they function.

Question 1: Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Oh yes i have retrieved all my steemit keys, offline as a printed copy and another in my Google drive account. I keep them so jealously you'll think it's a hidden treasure.

Question2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

---

Yes i know the use of each of these keys. I'll begin with the one i mostly use,

1. Posting Key: i use this key often to perform steemit related tasks such as commenting, posting, upvoting and editing. This is one of the basic keys to use as a steemian.

2. Active key: This one is used for wallet related and private actions such as token transfer, profile update, voting for witnesses, powering up or powering down or placing market orders. This key is more sensitive than the posting Key.

3. Owner key: This key modifies any key in the sense that it can reset all keys. When someone succeeds in having this key, your life is in serious danger. Because he can reset everything.

4. Memo Key : This one jss used to decrypt and encrypt your transactions while making a transfer to another account. This key secured the transaction you make.

5. Master key: Just as the name implies, this key is the mother of all other keys. This key generates all the previously mentioned keys.

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?

I have kept my master key as jealously as possible. It's in 4 different locations in a secret folder in my phone, my computer, my Google drive and an offline copy. I don't let anyone trespass beside these coz i one how important it is.

Question 4 : Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

---

Oh yes i know how to do that!
Firstly, i get into my wallet and log in by clicking the 3 lines at the top right corner where i input my private active key. Once I'm logged in, every digit becomes green.

Once that is done, the next step is i locate the down arrow on the Steen and click on it. A series of options will show which i click on transfer

Once I've do e that i can then input the necessary information like receiver's address, amount of steem and memo. Then i click on next

Once i click on next another page opens up and shows me a summary of what I'm about to do and once i confirm all the information i can continue.

Once I've confirmed and clicked on OK, I am asked to input my private active key as i earlier mentioned and it is done.

I have successfully transfered 0 Steen from my account to @majerius.

Question 5 : Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Of course too, this process is similar to transfer but the difference is that instead of transferring to another person, I'm transferring to my own account.

It starts by still locating the down arrow on the stern and choosing the Power Up option.

After that i can add the amount i wish to power up and when that is done i confirm the transaction details I've inputted.

Once that is fine, your power up is complete and you have invested in steem.
