Searching for Silence Today.

Greetings friends.


This week has been very intense, I can finally say: It arrived on Friday. It has really been exhausting and stressful, with many things that have happened. The important thing is that everything is under control. However, instead of waiting for Friday to celebrate, I would like a moment of tranquility and silence, perhaps a few hours in complete calm and absolute silence.

In this fast-paced world and among the many daily tasks, it is difficult to find a time to remain completely silent and listen only to the beneficial silence that surrounds us. Even seeking silence is not always an easy task.

Silence has that magic touch that can help heal the body, mind and spirit. We need it, for example, to find calm, tranquility and balance at the end of a long day. Or if we get up early, we can take advantage of the silence of the first moments of the morning to recharge our energy, but sometimes you have to run out of bed to prepare everything for the daily work or work. In short, the silence is there, we just have to take a little time to enjoy it.

The best way to try to enjoy the benefits of silence is to start meditating by sitting in a comfortable place, away from distractions, you can close your eyes and listen to the rhythm of your breathing, trying to follow it with your mind.

To keep your mind from being too busy with your thoughts, concentrate on your breathing. Your goal while you are alone in silence is to calm your mind and relax. At the beginning, many sounds are heard that fill our mind, after having abandoned the sound, it manages to move towards silence, which is above all an inner silence.

During the day, unpleasant sounds and noises can disturb our mind and cause stress with consequences that affect the body and create tension. When you want to release tension and really relax, choose silence and enjoy all its benefits. So my goal today is to remain alone for a while, in silence to recharge my mind. (I recognize that this week has weakened her).

... the early morning hours can be wonderful times for quiet reflection. To listen for the "still, small voice" of our Lord. I have always been a "morning person," going back to when I was a paper boy who had to get up before sunrise to begin the work of getting papers out to my customers. So ... If they got up with the sun, they would have their paper to read in the early morning hours ...

Nice to know your husband, who loves you so much, has provided you a little quiet time to yourself. 👍

Hello dear friend, God bless you. Usually before I got up I prayed, lately I admit that I have not done it when I got up. I must take it up again, that is the best thing, to put our day in the hands of God.
