Scooting around Malaga
I’m sitting outside an Irish pub in Malaga right now . Not a care in the world . My wife is shopping. I’m sipping beers and people watching. The couple beside me are having an arguement of epic proportions and I think about how lucky I am with my wife Aoife . We have a good understanding. I hate shopping and she gets bored with pubs in the day time so whenever we go on holiday some of the afternoons we have this little arrangement. I work in a shop so a smell of one on holidays puts me in a bad mood. So this morning when she wanted to look around the shops , i fucked off on a scooter discovering the sights of Malaga . My wife doesn’t really like sight seeing so I went off to see them. The scooters here are great. Little electric 2 wheel things that pack a punch with speed.

Point to note ! Image above is Scooter Rides! There’s no way I’d last 20 minutes on any other kind of ride ! 😜
You scan a QR code and the company I chose is TIer One. Once the account is set up which takes 5 minutes initially you are good to go. What’s even better , you can park the scooter wherever you want. Finish your trip on your phone and just leave it there . What an idea. You then do your business and come back. If it is still there great! If it’s not then you go find another one. You open the app and the little dots are where they all are
I’ve had a great morning whizzing in and out of places and people and covered some ground . Now it’s relax time with a pint and a book. Malaga is a great old spot and this is just what I wanted in a holiday. Everything is done with the sightseeing . Now it’s time to kick back and be bored and hope the good wife doesn’t spend millions!!
Scooters and pints ! Now that’s a good holiday! I have no pictures of me on a scooter because I don’t want a hospital bill .

When I travel for conferences, I have also been using Bird and Lime scooters to get around. They are a great way to explore the area around the hotel and convention center. They are both fun and affordable.
It’s the first city I have seen them in ? Are they in many locations?
I’ve seen them in Charlotte, NC; Austin, TX; San Antonio, TX; and Baltimore, MD. I think probably most major cities have them. I love it.

OH @blanchy
I love Malaga. Have been there for over a week sometime last year. Amazing place for holiday :)
Enjoy, Piotr
It is the same way with my husband and I. A good relationship is accepting that a good chunk of time just should not be spent together ;)

No badger all you have to do is stand on them although you have to lift a finger for them to go forward. It’s like a motorcycle acceleration on the handlebar
Now we are talking! That's something id pay to ride!

haha! that's a brilliant idea sir blanchy, why don't you start a scooter deal in Ireland? Or would all of them get ripped off or wrecked? I don't know if that works anywhere here, probably someplace but most places people would steal them just because they could.
There is a comment above that they are in lots of US cities including Baltimore which answers your question . . Dublin is cobblestones a lot so it may be a bumpy ride . Great idea though
