A Letter To Myself
Dear Luz...
I need you to stop for a second and breath. Life has been hard on you but you're strong and always put a smile on your face. These past weeks have been difficult. You've been fighting with yourself trying to kill your feelings but you know better than anyone that's not gonna work. Your brain is always right, your brain will always tells you what you need to do but your heart never wants to listen and that's why it always ends up broken.
You know what you have to do and I feel proud of you for doing it even tho it makes you feel miserable. You see, in this life you can't be good to everyone. You can't support and give love to people who clearly doesn't care about you. You can't keep being there for people that never have time for you, you can't love people who ignores you, you can't talk to people who make fun of you when you need help. No you can't. You can't keep being friendly with people who are definitely not your friends. Your tears are too precious to be wasted in that type of people.
I know being friendly and caring for others is part of your nature. I know you feel bad when you turn your back at others even if they deserve it but there are times you have to do what you hate in order to save your heart to keep breaking over and over again. Is better this way, believe me! It hurts, it really hurts. Your heart always choose to see the good side of everything, your heart never see the bad ugly things... but don't worry cause your brain will always going to show you the truth even if you try to shut your eyes off. Be strong, keep moving forward. Cry if you need to, scream if you need it but keep moving forward. Learn to walk away from people who clearly doesn't deserve your friendship. Focus in what's really important in this life. I'm proud of who you are.

Wow.. brilliant letter to yourself. I would have written that to myself too. It all makes sense. This life is too short, so always do your best to keep being happy no matter your circumstances.
It can be self defeating trying to change the world or get others to love you. Just be strong and do you 💪👍😁
