In this picture a Vietnamese bride awaits her husband. She is standing in the doorway of a traditional 200 year old house, in the city of Hoi An. This is part of the pre-wedding ceremony & photographs that all Vietnamese couples take when they are getting married. I like the way she is silhouetted by the light as she stands in her traditional silk dress in the doorway.

This photo was taken with my iphone in a dark environment looking into the sun. I lightened it with the "instant" filter from within Ios. I hope you like it, and I hope it fits the "nostalgia" theme.
