Even If It Was A Bubble Is That A Bad Thing?
All last year and the year before we heard bitcoin was a bubble and ready to burst. It seriously took a lot of effort in terms of FUD, shorting bitcoin and junk news to really bring it down to its current levels. But then again when you look at the price of nearly $4,000 Bitcoin still remains rather dominate and much higher then it was in terms of it $800 level just 2 years ago.
The cryptocurrency simply is not dead, just like the Dot com bubble yes it got over inflated but 10 years later dotcom is massive and simply unstoppable. Will bitcoin follow in its footsteps and was a bubble of bitcoin really a bad thing?
That being said some more new that came out from the Winklevoss twins and their exchange Gemini makes me feel like they are no longer a good fit and people to follow.
In their newest press release they said crypto needs rules... uhmmmm CYA guys that's prob the worst thing you can say to people that have invested in the vision of cryptocurrency lol
I think they are tryinf to provide a framework to self regulate for the benefit of the industry and while it does signal centralization which we are trying to avoid, it also helps the providers learn how to protect participants as well so it may be a necessary evil.
