Friend bought some softboxes so we meet for fotoshoot test. First time using a softbox.

thanks. well i did have some experience with shower curtains, bed sheets and similar so i had some idea what to expect :) as photography is not my job it's always should i buy an 85mm lens or a softbox, should i buy wide lens or softbox and i know it would be rarely used so...
