I Love Jurgen Klopp
Klopp was being interviewed by ASTRO Supersports Malaysia, Adam Carruthers. He was asked this particular question and he answered it superbly, the Jurgen Klopp way.
Adam Carruthers : How did you motivate the players after their defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League?
Jurgen Klopp : Motivating those players is not like a mystery of the universe. Every players that came to Liverpool, first and foremost must be highly motivated themselves and will not be let down by failures. Motivation must come from their ownselves, I just give them a helping hand.
I was expecting another answer, but Klopp gave credits to his own players instead. This really shows the high mentality the players that he posesses, and what a great manager and coach Klopp is.
There are only eight matches left for Liverpool in the English Premier League, and they are 2 points ahead of Machester City, albeit City still have a game in hand. These last eight matches will surely test how well Liverpool handles the pressure. I hope their high mentality will prevail by the end of the season.
