I am using steemit only for some weeks but I found out that some people
are getting lot of money with similar amount of votes
some people are getting more money with less votes
and some people are getting lot less money compared to the no of votes
There are two reasons for it 1) tags ( payouts are different for each tag ) and the
most important reason 2) up-voters with different steem powers
When a steemer (steemit user) with high steem power up-vote your post
you will get higher payout but when users with low steem power up-votes
you get low pay-outs.
Thats why I am creating a group and in that group all members will help out
each other by up-voting.

Don't think about all followers as real followers. Most of them are ghost follower. They follow but no upvote. People that get upvote are mostly famous people, like youtubers, etc.
Just like anything else, its how famous you are not how much you contribute. I have seen in-depth articles with a few penny upvoted and useless crappy articles earning easy 40-50$ per post
