Shooting fashion. A few tips.

We have been repeatedly told that good images sell the product especially in online commerce. It is still wonderful to see how high budget campaigns are using shitty shots and how stingy most of sellers are.

I'm not trying to complain here, after all it's their money. But It's wasted money. Production should at least cost 10% from the add campaign budget and getting reach with low quality photos simple does not convert.

I am trying to do some lifestyle or editorial photos that i am attaching to high quality product images, to showcase the product and conversions increase exponentially. Also it is a good idea to do a few close ups of product features, such as interesting pockets, buttons, labels etc.

But most importantly it is a story and benefit that you sell. Nobody's buying features.
