Autumn. Mushrooming. #1 - Amanita Muscaria

in #mypictureday7 years ago

I am visiting my parents. That can only mean: Organic Vegetables, Amazing Flowers and this time Mushrooms!

Me and my dad went mushrooming today, it's a short 15 minute drive to a forest he knows well so there are little chance that we get lost. We are usually picking the ones called boletus. But i could not pass those beautiful Amanita Muscaria without taking a few images. Since i am spending a weekend at my parents i will share different kinds of shrooms, but today is Amanita Muscaria day.

A young cute Amanita Muscaria. I personally adore how they look in the beginning.

To prove that we were really successful here is the result of an hour and a half us mushrooming.

Wow! Are those mushrooms even real? I wish I lived in a place near there to check out these interesting works of mother nature. Too much of the big city tends to make you forget how much awesomeness there is out there.

Great post, @bescouted. :)

Indeed, that is why i like visiting my parents so much. Rest in the nature is so much different than rest in the city. Definitely much more effective :)

Ooohhhh, I likey! I've always seen shots of the babies (the cute ones; this variety look like they have bits of marshmallows stuck on them!) but not how they look once grown - just as interesting and bright! Thank you for sharing!! :)

Hah hah, it is nice how they are so beautiful and deadly.. just like women lol !!!

Lol... no comment! :D :D

Think twice before ingesting an amanita.... things might start looking a little bit brighter ahaha :P

No, these were just for pictures, but i have a buddy here on steemit @freeinthought who did an experiment of ingesting amanita, and he did not report any light at the end of a tunnel:)

Never tried it myself but read a lot of weird experiences. Yeah sometimes if you go too deep into the rabbit hole it might be hard to find some light.

Nobody knows how deep does a rabbit hole goes and what you might find in there.

Haven't been in the forest for mushrooms in years. Loved to go with my dad and my grandfather long time ago. Nice collection in your baskets.

The Amanita Muscaria is quite poisonous from what I know... I also know some people who tried to use them for hallucinogenics ended up in the loony bin. Have seen a few myself, but never such a nice "Family"

This is quite a tradition that we do and i am waiting in autumn with my dad too. A nice walk in the forest and some mushroom to pick that are so good in winter for a treat.
And Amanita did not end up in my basket for sure, but they looks so good in pictures. But i am not ending in the loony bin, at least not for the Amanita Muscria :)

Yippee! I'm so happy to see your fly agarics! How many mushrooms! You made my day! 😍😍😘😗😙😚🤗🤗

We are going in today again, as yesterday it was pretty late and getting dark so hard to see. I will also take my Sony Camera today, so i expect to come out with some nicer shots even :)

Yes it will be excellent! I'm waiting! 😘😗😙🤗🤗

Wow, they are so pretty! 😍

They are very photogenic, Those skirts, that red color with white dots. It's a shame they are poisonous, i am sure some chef would come out with an amazing looking dish if they weren't.

Wow, those I really great pictures... well done. I miss my S7 after I destroyed the screen... I'm back on my old Samsung Galaxy S3 and it is amazing to see how the camera on these phones evolved. Keep up the good work!

S7 is an amazing phone camera, it is wonderful how fast the technology is moving forward.

OoH they are so beautiful !! Not edible but gorgeous ^_^
The last baskets are full of yummies though ;-)

We went out today, and i have uploaded even more, but much more edible boletus today:)))

Amanita Muscaria are definitely on my list of favorite mushrooms. It's such an interesting fungus with some of the greatest mythologies surrounding it.

Nice pictures, they really show off the beauty of one of the most classic fairy tale images.

Yes indeed that red bright color certainly attracts the eye. I wish other mushrooms that are edible also were so bright, would be so much easier to pick them!

Have you use any filters or photoshop .....Your level of photography is quite high .Wonderful snap sir @bescouted

I did some photoshop actually to give that richer color. Just duplicate a layer and select soft light blending mode. Worked just fine in this case.

Just upload the video of photoshop also because I would love to learn this kind of special effects

Had an idea of doing a series of photoshop tutorials, but would need to get some good screen capture software.
