A handful of crypto airdrops/UBI

It's been a while since I've written a crypto post or an airdrop post, but seeing as there are a couple of interesting airdrops at the moment (Initiative Q and Byteball), I thought that I would just lump these into a single post in addition to a couple of UBI schemes.
Intiative Q
Initiative Q is aiming to be a global payment system (sounds familiar...), it is aiming to replace global currencies by attempting to match the volume and velocity of fiat money. It is a hugely ambitious attempt, and requires that as many people adopt the model as possible. Whilst I'm not totally convinced that they can pull it off, this airdrop does give you a significant amount of Q's (the token, around 11000) at which they are hoping to gain a 1 to 1 parity with the USD.
This is a long term project that is in it's beginning stages, there is no cost for joining at this early stage. At this stage the only requirement is an email address (or social media addresses if you want) to create an account and claim 11000 Q's. They currently have no worth, but if the network is successful then they could be worth a bit!
I have two referral links (one for myself, and one for my wife). If the first one fails, I think the second has a longer time still remaining on it!

Byteball
Okay, this airdrop has taken Steemit by storm in the past few days, due to the Steem-exclusive nature of the airdrop. Byteball is a crypto-currency that features smart contracts, user controlled identities, atomic payments, app support that is scalable and currently functional.
They are offering an airdrop for all Steem users over 30 REP, with the airdrop amounts depending on the exact REP level that your account has:
Reputation 30 or above: $10.00 reward
Reputation 40 or above: $20.00 reward
Reputation 50 or above: $40.00 reward
Reputation 60 or above: $80.00 reward
Reputation 70 or above: $160.00 reward
Half of the reward will be immediately available, the other half will be locked on a smart contract and can be spent after 1 year.
The airdrop does require the installation of their wallet onto your device, but they support all major operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android).
The wallet can be downloaded from here: https://steem-byteball.org/#AUPFXWUJMGX37RWMWN6VMM7SQUQYQ62V
Or if you already have the wallet installed: [email protected]/bb#AUPFXWUJMGX37RWMWN6VMM7SQUQYQ62V
Steps
Download the wallet: https://steem-byteball.org/#AUPFXWUJMGX37RWMWN6VMM7SQUQYQ62V
Under the tab receive: copy your wallet address and paste it here in the comments: I can then send you the registration fee of 600,000 bytes (if you used my referral link!).
Go to "chat", then "bot store" and find and start the "steem attestation bot".
From the chat, click "..." and insert your address then follow the instructions.
NOTE: If the bot is hanging, I found that removing it (Remove device, in the chat section) and reinstalling fixed the problem.
UBI Universal Basic Income
Here are two UBI schemes that aim to harness the power of crypto. They have been around on Steemit for quite some time, but I figured I may as well tack these on the end!
Mannabase: https://www.mannabase.com/?ref=e67f176164
Swift: https://www.swiftdemand.com/?referred_by=bengy
As usual, these are referral links, and so I do get a little bonus for inviting people.

Thanks I like the idea airdrops but a lot I find don't seem to payout so I will check on these maybe you are better at finding them but I did do the the Byteball one yesterday that works for sure, sorry was with someone else. But i signed up on one of your Q links says John has to verify me.
Thanks, verified!
Signed up with second link.
Thanks for sharing!
Steem on :)
Thanks, I have confirmed you!
@bengy Got it! Thanks again for sharing.
Thank you for this helpful post. Do you think it's actually worthwhile to join all these schemes? I guess it's likely that one of them will pay off!
If I were honest, I would say I wouldn't put money into it. For the airdrops, I have a disposable email/phone number/twitter and various non essential crypto addresses on different chains. I have these easily accessible on a Google Keep note so I can just cut and paste and it doesn't take longer than a minute to do it.
I am invested in crypto, but with airdrops at the moment, I think it would be a long shot if even one succeeded fully. I avoid those that need KYC (real world ID) or Facebook, and unless I'm relatively sure I avoid installing wallets for single user chains. With sign ups, lastpass makes it quite easy as well...
I figure, if there is no harm, then I may as well. But I try not to give out too much useful information...
Sounds wise.
Yeah, that's my instinct too - say "thanks" but with a huge pinch of salt.
Sometimes more like a handful!
