VEGGIE AND HEALTHY PIZZA

The other night I was planning to cook just some fried eggs with cheese, but suddenly I realized that I had some tomatoes, and also fresh oregano, which's killing me because I love these herbs in its most natural way.

So, here I'll show to you my finished meal:

Veggie and healthy pizza

Finished meal.

What do you need?

  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • A pan

How did I get to it?

Step 1


What you need. That's one of my favourite cheese, from La Serenísima, a big company from my country.

Just use as many eggs as you like. Be careful here because there are studies that show that yolk could increase bad cholesterol, but some others say that this isn't true. If you want to use many eggs, I recommend you to prioritize the number of whites. I left a link here just in case you want to read more about it Eggs: Are they good or bad for my cholesterol?

I use to have one entire egg, and two or three extra whites. Mix everything with a little bit of salt, you can do it by beating it by hand, you can use forks or an electric mixer. The time that you want. If you mix less, then your pizza will be more consistent, if you do it for a long time, then you'll have a fluffy base.

Step 2

Cut as much cheese as you are going to use and let it on one side.

Put some drops or a small tablespoon on the pan, try to distribute it over the entire pan, and then put your mix there. Add some salt and wait around 5 minutes (with middle fire), just look at this, maybe you have a stronger or weak flame, you need to see it almost ready and cooked. That's the moment when you'll have to flip it.

Step 3

This is almost ready my friends. Wait just some minutes, not too much, and put the cheese on the mix. Put low the fire to the minimum level, and cover it.

Cut the tomato (or tomatoes, it's your choice) and look for your fresh oregano, or use a dry one if that's what you have. Clean it and add all these to the pan. Cover again. (You can add a little bit more salt at this point, but remember that's not so healthy).

Check it to see if it is ready to.... EAT haha. You don't want it burned!

it is delicious pizza and easy to prepare it with nice ingredeint, i do not like very much use of eggs i think one eggs is enough because eggs not good for those people who are facing cholesterol issue or HB issue so it is nice, presentation, your presentation in photo is nice thank

Exactly! That's why I use 1 entire egg and then only whites for the protein. Just for you to know, there are studies that show that eggs are not so bad for cholesterol. And they are good for the view for the lutein conteined in the yolk. Remember that cholesterol is only in the yolk, the white has pure protein. In this link, you can read more of this.
