Can anything be considered as art?
I don’t know about you guys but sometimes artwork perplexes me. Not the medieval stuff that is always remembered as vintage fine art. I’m talking about those splashes of paint against a canvas that go for $1000s-$100,000s.
I’m sure there are good splashes of art out there.. but maybe just maybe some people have too much money to burn? Yes it’s a very small number of people.
In any case here’s a picture of a rotten apple my wife left out. Any bids?

Many times, when you buy art you are buying the name behind it. As a collector, I know I've bought some pieces that are hard to appreciate by many but I just adore!

I guess art is whatever someone considers as art? Art is supposed to make you "feel something", so yeah my daughter's first real painting from about 10 years ago is still on the fridge. Still not for sale. 😁
