At Evenings End
So I was at the evenings end..
I was grilling some shrimp and watching the sun fade away. Not so long ago it was rising as I drove into work, now its setting and I have no idea where the day went. Rush rush rush, to this point. So i'm here relaxing, grilling and having a beer to reward myself for that long day of productivity. Back to the sunset.. there it goes! It wasn't the most spectacular one, but it was still calm, quiet and pretty. The wind just died back as I watched the neighbors walking their dogs through the neighborhood. They too were enjoying the days end and the simple glory that comes along with it. Some said hello, while others kept to themselves as if stuck deep within their thoughts. That's okay though, I don't mind them not acknowledging me standing there. Sometimes it's just nice to nod and smile a hello. As I turned my attention back to the dipping sun, the whites and yellow soon gave way to purples and pinks. There just didn't seem to be enough cloud cover to reflect those passionate colors I know were there somewhere in hiding. I will be looking forward to the next one, just that much more i guess :-)

The Sunset Aside ..
Those Shrimp turned out delicious. Melted butter, garlic, lemon, salt and pepper with a light shaving of fresh ginger. I brushed it over the skewered shrimp and slowly grilled them for 5 minutes or so per side. Yum..... A side of rice and broccoli.. all gone in a few short minutes!

I can't forget the beer ..
Tonight's choice was River Horse Brewery's, Tripel Horse. It was a Belgium style triple ale. Sweet with a nice spice to it. Watch out though, it packs a punch with a 10% ABV. I enjoyed it immensely.

Yeah, I really love my jeep. I’ve had three over the years. This one I love the best. It’s a TJ Wrangler 2006. I’ve done a considerable work to it. I like messing around with that kind of stuff, and jeeps are pretty easy, in my opinion, to work on. I have a work vehicle so it’s easy I just keep it parked in the garage and use it on the weekends or whenever. Shrimp were delicious!
Such a beautiful sunset ... the blue / pink colors .... btw ... love the choice of a white truck... vs other colors !

It was beautiful :-) I always loved a good sunset. I wasn't looking for white when I purchased the Jeep, but the color has really grown on me. It doesn't stand out, but sort of does.. if that makes any sense. This is my 3rd Jeep, and I really think that I will always own one. I have really become attached to them. This particular one has become my favorite. I have had it for about 7 years now. I may keep it till death.. LOL
