Walking on streets under the lights with a sullen heart, he sighted his favorite bar ahead. He dragged his feet along the floor boards of the bar and approached the counter to get a drink. He said 'Hey bar man, can I get the best drink you have got'. While sipping his exotic drink, he thought of the events of the past few months that led to hullabaloo he was in right now. Casting his mind back to the night he met her, while he stared into space.

Till the moment it had happened, he still couldn't grasp why it had happened ?. Everything seems to be a dream to him. He said to himself that he was quite lucky to keep his sanity. Ordering for another round of drink, the events of the past months rolled in.

Alex Vardy, a 25yr old marketer for a not so big company. He is quite an introvert which sounds weird for someone who is a marketer . He is hard working and dreams of having his own company one day.

Alexander is the kind of guy you need to be friends with, to get to know how fun he is. He doesn't talk much and he is a chatterbox depending on your relationship with him. He can be quite crazy around friends and family. But he tends to look quiet and gentle to strangers due to his introvert life. One thing he sure has is that he loved by everyone he has been associated with, they always talked highly of him.

He has never been in a relationship with a lady before but his best friend is a female. That was about to change unknown to him. It all started when he went out for a job after which he decided to get something to eat since it was late, He met this beautiful lady who became is joy and also his sorrow. His life was simple before he met her, but everything turned upside down after he did meet her. He has had a rollercoaster adventure with her

On seeing her for the first time, he was love struck. He tried approaching her, asking a for a date or getting a coffee but he couldn't . He never asked a girl out for a date before in his life even while in high school or college. He cursed his shyness and nervousness beneath his breath. Upon seeing her smile, he summoned all courage within him and stepped up to her. She sat quite distance from him but not to far for him to stare at her. He got to her and tried talking to her but his lips gave him away, his teeth kept gnashing each other, he trembled in fear and didn't speak well enough only managing to stutter 'Hi, I am Alex may I sit with you ?. She replied ' Oh I don't mind as long as I don't scare you' winking as she said it. The moment he sat down, she stood up telling him, she was about to leave. Feeling embarrassed, he managed a smile and asked for her contact. She scribbled some stuff down , smiled at him and took her leave. Overjoyed he checked what she wrote down. Alas it was her phone number and name. He said 'Kira, what a beautiful name for an angel' as he smiled with a wide grin.

Kira Johnson, the pride of her father(A business Magnate) and mother. She was the heir to the throne of her father's empire. She was so beautiful, that her presence alone could cause a rancour among the men. She is touted among the rich men of the city, managers, CEOs name them. She has this positive bubbly aura, that makes everyone want to associate with her. She's quite the opposite of Alex, as she is an extrovert who loves partying. Even though her father is stinking rich, she tries to stay humble as humanly possible. Seeing Alex, she knew in her heart he was the one who could love her for who she is and also it was love at first sight. Since Alex doesn't know how rich she was or her father.

And that's where their love story began. Two months into their relationships , everything was rosy. Like he always does for her every Friday, He wrote her a poem. He said this particular poem reminds him of when they first met.

She was sitting at the other end of my world.
Her smile looking more beautiful than the moon.
She shined so bright in the moonlight.
I tried talking to her.
But I got scared I might say something and lose her forever.
Stuttering in my words and trembling to my toes.
She looked at me smiling
and I was relieved

As they say not all things last forever. Trouble got into our Paradise when that sly got into our lives, I warned Kira but she felt complacent and never heed to my words. Then both of our worlds came crashing down in a blink of an eye. It drove Kira almost insane, she had broken down emotionally just because of the sly.

Back to the present, Alex had finished another round of drink. He was already drunk and staggered a few times to stand up. He frantically searched for his wallet, before finding it in his chest pocket. He paid for his drinks and swayed left and right as he walked out of the bar. Trudging back to his place of abode,a drunken Alex tried keeping his eyes wide open.

Luckily for him, his home wasn't far from the bar. He got home feeling tardy and sad. Alex's home was not so small or so big but it was quite spacious. It had a big parlor with a fire place where you could snuggle during the winter. He had two rooms, one which was his bedroom and the other is study room. He also had a small garden in front of the house where he practised homesteading. You could see he lives a simple life, everywhere was always tidy and clean. He walked into the bathroom for a quick shower and brushed his teeth. Then he laid in his bed, trying to relive the events of the past months because all that happened he never expected any of it. He never even got an hint of impending doom. Then he dozed off into his own thoughts.............
