Charisma is Lightning in a Bottle!
As a completely biased "Observer" I see who rises and who stagnates. I'm not just talking about money, because guilds, bots and alliances skew what is ultimately either an acceptance or rejection within the platform.
I compiled a very simple list of a few elements I see within some Steemians who tend to stick out from the information tidal wave.
One: Sense of Humor! I have seen people lose their shit when a post that took 8 hours to make and is quite well crafted just flop and die. Now there are a lot who enjoy reading thousands of pages of tedious analysis of certain subjects but for the vast majority....not so much. Maybe a couple light hearted or funny "breaks" in a work will make it less robotic.

Two: Image may NOT be everything
For a chosen few, carefully placed hair and perfect angles and selfies work but for most it screams, "trying too hard" and seeing that there are many smarty pants on here it just gets buried in the avalanche of the New section.

Three: K.I.S.S. Some posts I click on are so complex and Term Paper like that I just skip them altogether. Keep It Simple Stupid

Four: Chutzpah! I see those personality types with some Cajones tend to shine a bit more due to taking a stance and getting to the heart of the matter. They cut to the chase and seem to be no bullshit types and also some colorful language and wordsmithery adds to their personal flavor.

Five: Steemit Swag $ ...You can not buy or normally duplicate real charisma or swagger. It is one of those intangibles that people either have or don't. If you do have it and own it then even a post about the price of tea in China can be worth reading. If you don't have it then finding the niches you do excel in is much more palatable then attempting to overreach and winding up trying to cater to everybody elses opinion of how you should create content on here. Do what you want and realize that you can't make everyone happy.

The End. That is my imperfect post of some observations of how some can at least hold their own on here while others get steeeeemrolled by the simple fact that their personality (or lack of) is not working for them. Good Luck and may your inner Rock Star shine through!

Well said. Just a little note on the issue of 'Charisma is a have or have not'. This is true but i l also believe that working really hard on what you do and putting much effort can replace charisma, and still get the job done.

Keep it simple stupid. Hard to make my way through some of the over written posts on here. Great advice. To the point. My inner rock star usually comes out when the radio is on! Lol 🐓🐓
I am super happy am not the only one who thinks some things are over written as well. I mean to each their own but when it makes me have flash backs to having to write a Thesis., moving on, lol
