The blocktrades contest | Titanic Tuesday Trilogy

Not my normal type of post. But it is in an effort to grow my account a little bit more, so that next year my vote can reach a few more accounts. "Toot your own horn post" are not an easy thing to do, but I am going to try.

In January I was approached by an individual that was starting a new thing on steemit, a thing to make it easier for new accounts to get a little bit extra coverage on their post. It was called Newbieresteemday. At the time I was honest and told the individual's involved what I felt I would be able to do and was willing to help. For 41 weeks I put out my Weekly Sunday help a new user post. After week 41 I went on a bi-weekly posting due to inactivity on my post. (lack of new users looking for/or needing help). I feel that was community services. The concept was created by @mudcat36 and @davemccoy.

I also joined/signed up for Asher's league of engagement. @abh12345. I thought that having a place to see how I was doing engagement wise was a good thing. Every Sunday I still head over and look to see how I am doing. (not well lately, but I am one of those that likes to leave a vote when I comment, and well that has been a tough thing to do lately. I don't think I have missed a day of not commenting or finding something to say on someone's post this year.

I have recently been picked up by a couple of curation trails following my post, so I do try not to over post and to keep my post at a quality level. I guess they feel that my post are of sufficient quality. I have two post I have recently done that I really liked, (I actually like all my post), but the one I am going to pick is not the curied one, but my Titanic Tuesday Trilogy post, I had a lot of fun putting that one together.
