Just Because I felt like doing a photo post #2
It has been about two weeks since I did my first "Just Because I felt like doing a photo post. This was not meant to be a bi-weekly thing, I guess it is just a time issue thing or something. We went out yesterday, which was Tuesday for a little drive and a little bit of shopping. The light was pretty nice, and it wa a hot day yesterday, we actually hit 82 degrees at one point on my vehicle thermometer. (and yes it is pretty accurate always with in 1 degree of the other digital outdoor thermometers around town). So we went to get some pictures from an unbusy bluff area, that looks toward the small boat harbour.
Kenai's water highway to the small boat harbour, a few lined up waiting on the tide to come in, so they can go out.
This bluff area is a great spot to get some awesome sunset pictures, and we have taken many from this location. There is a picnic table available for use, mostly for the people that work in the building who the parking lot belongs to, but they do not mind if people use it.
Here are a couple pictures of the Wild Alaskan Geraniums.
I love the look of these flowers, they are just a beautiful flower, and when they are mixed in with a bunch of the Alaskan Sitka roses, they are a very amazing sight. (I used a few Alaskan Sitka rose pictures in the last post).
Dandelions, who does not love Dandelion flowers. The bees just adore them, and everyone likes honey. I am sure you remember as a kid on those bright days holding a yellow dandelion flower under your friends chin and laughing as it turned it the chin a funny shade of yellow, or running around kicking all the fluffy tops, or picking them and then making dandelion snow.
This last flower I am not real sure what it's name is, google image search seems to think it is a yarrow, and it very well could be, I am just not used to the Yarrow looking quite like this, with such large petals and a pretty loose top cluster. I do know as you can see in the little round close up, that every Alaskans favorite critter seems to like it.
I accept full responsibility for all the photo problems or issue you may encounter while looking at them, maybe not sharp enough or in focus enough, or the color not bright enough, or this issue or that issue. You see I took the pictures, I did not take them from the internet, (I did I guess put them on the internet).
I am still getting used to my camera, I am doing I feel a lot better at it. I need to get un-lazy about it and when I want those close in shots, I need to put the macro lens on, I mean that is why I bought it, but like one of the photographers mentioned on steemit to the question of what is the right lens?..."the lens you have with you"...So I am getting a lazy habit I can tell already.
Photos were taken with my Nikon D7500 Camera.

Wow, 82 degrees in coastal Alaska... that's pretty toasty! We're 1400 miles to the south in Washington and it only made it to 75 yesterday... nice photo post!
