Iron curtain - Monomad Challenge

This photo is my entry for the #monomad contest @monochromes.

My childhood passed in those times, which were called the Iron Curtain, or, the Cold War.

I remember how training alarms were announced and we had to put on gas masks and formations, move towards the bomb shelter.

In those days, we really were under an iron cap, we could not travel the world without special permission from the security services of our country, which was called the USSR.

Those gray times have passed, but reminders have remained of them.

I often find ventilation shafts that circulate air in underground bunkers.

The rusty grilles on the surface of these ventilation shafts, as a symbol of the iron curtain, I captured in this photograph.
