#mushroommonday (Earn SBI)
Feeling quite ill today, but I wanted to post a quick snapshot this big and beautiful Mottled Bolete (* Leccinum variicolor*) and giveaway some SBI!
This guy is growing in my backyard and is edible! Not very tasty and has been reported to make small children and dogs sick. It is even possible that this mushroom has psilocybin in it, but it's so minimal you wouldn't hallucinate.
They commonly grow in lawns and in hedgerows and smell like mushrooms you would buy in the store.
Here is a bonus picture of a baby bolete growing nearby!
I love the way these guys look with their fat stems and classic mushroom look!

In my town I do not see so much variety of fungi, although I find them so flashy I would not be able to eat them.
I understand that! Mushrooms are everywhere you just have to look 😁
