I will be sharing with you a response I gave to an old friend who asked me about the secret of continuity in the blogging world. I hope you find this helpful if you are also having struggles creating contents for your blog.

One major goal of every steemian is to get some information across their blogs to the rest of the world through the aid of writing first before any other means.

the key to making your blog thrive lies in the effectiveness of your writing skills and your ability to manipulate information.

It doesn’t matter how many more things you can do effectively, if you don’t excel in writing, your blog will not be regarded as quality. Talent, on steemit is not synonymous to quality; I have seen a lot of talented individuals who are defect in their writing skills.

Strive to develop your writing skills

Like is said earlier, a sound writing skills is fundamental in having a succeeding on steemit. It doesn’t matter what value you have to offer, there is need to develop your writing skill.

take for example; you can have a beautiful portrait painted with the bests materials in the world and on the best mesh, but if you fail to provide adequate explanations of the symbols and colours used through the means of writing, no one would really appreciate that.

See how important it is to develop how you communicate through writing? Now let’s walk ourselves through the basic things you need for a start.

1. Look for an Area of Interest

It’s important to find an area of interest, because that will coordinate your entire endeavour to better your communication skills. All you need to do is find an area of interest you would like to specialize on. The implication of this is that, you will find it easy to learn by focusing on one particular manner of writing than pursuing a group of random authors and end up confusing yourself. There are several areas like; art, fiction, poetry, story and others.

2. Put your Reading Skills to Use

Every successful reader ends up a prolific writer. The need for reading good contents from everywhere relevant to your interest is to make you have an eye for what quality content really looks like. You have to know what it looks like before you can be able to have one for yourself.

3. Expand your Mind

The basic thing you should understand is the need to acquire the relevant information in your area of interest. As you gain more information, you would have more contents in your minds; which will be a spring of knowledge where you draw from anytime you need to write. In other words, you have to seek to keep broadening your horizon(the things you know or say your knowledge-base) in order to become more effective in writing.

For those who seek to know what this project is all about, you can read that below;

PHASE 1:

At this stage, we teach some minnows at our offline classroom to help attain self-sustenance. These minnows will then work with us as a team, reproducing other minnows. Currently, we have just wrapped up with Phase 1. And Phase 2 which is more demanding kicked off already. We have already recorded a track which you’ll find @theminnowschool. We are also in the process of recording a next track but the negotiation is still ongoing.

PHASE 2:

This basically is the core of the vision is to raise steem-backed entrepreneurs of young people. The method through which we execute the absolute idea goes as follows;

• SKILL ACQUISITION PROJECTS: where various skills will be taught to foster the emergence of new entrepreneurs that thrive on voluntarism.

• THE MINNOW SCHOOL TALENT HUNT: we greatly hope to give minnows who are not really writers but have other gifts such as singing, painting, dancing, acting a platform to express themselves and get their creativity beyond their minds. Basically, we are giving these young people a voice and ultimately awaken the writer in them.

• THE MINNOW SCHOOL ART/MUSIC EXHIBITIONS: here talented young people will get to showcase their talents and the value they have to offer to the community. We will be sponsoring art projects and professional music careers will emerge with this.
