MINNOW SCHOOL PART 5
Good evening steemians! I @bait002 will be continuing the series we started on the enhancement of the growth of our Minnows. All offline students have travelled to their various homes, and we have to continue with the online classes. So today we'll be considering one other fundamental component of the minnow-growth.
TAKING YOUR EYES OFF THE DOLLAR, FASTEN IT ON THE CONTENT
One major issue I have noticed with minnows is that we do not see beyond what's before our eyes. We scroll through the trending page, and we see articles of whales and dolphins on those pages with a huge dollar count on them. We stare at the dollar so much and analyze how much upvotes produced that. And that's not a bad thing. The problem is that, we barely take our time to analyze the content of the post.
spend time to know what makes a great post a great post. Implement what you got from those analysis with your own touch of creativity.
That's what you should do! And not keep counting upvotes that produced the dollar on a post. You know it's amazing how you can tell how much @sweetssj made on her last post but you can't meticulously tell us what she blogged about on the same post.
the upvote and dollar are dependent variables. Take your eyes off the dependent variable and fasten them on the independent variable. That's how you win!
Choose a renowned steemians whose work you admire and make it a point to read all of their posts for the next 3 months.

This is excellent advice! There is a lot a person can learn just by studying and imitating others who are succeeding. Of course, imitation should be carefully applied. You want to speak with your own voice, but it can be helpful to practice by following a model.
