A distress position in the society : a cry for the illiterate

This is a heartbreaking experience with the illiterate in the hospital. We just went to an hospital..actually a public hospital for orthopedic check up of a patient. I did the favor to drive for them there and make it more comfortable for the patient. Doing it with public vehicles is not really easy as his feet were cemented. He met an accident and got fractured. So just to help them up I made it easier for him.

There are a lot of patient patiently waiting for the doctor but sadly they have a meeting that is why we have a long line..while waiting for them we parked in the parking lot provided by them making us realized how hard to seek the help of the Public hospitals waiting for a long time.

My bestriend is with us...so as to make the boredome torelable she played pokeman walking down the ground of the hospital making her busy really...too busy that she left us in the parking area . 300 kms away from the hospital vicinity. But anyway its good that we have parked just beside a tree making the weather tolerable.

So she went out again and spend some time near the hospital making things really a wholesome experience. As she sat there someone approach here and asked her to help them fill-up the Philhealth form because they don"t know how to do it...No not just don't know how to fill it up but don't know how to write.

According to them  noone help them...they have approach a guy but don't  take time to help them write the information needed by the form. She helped them and finished it...when its our time to go home and fetch them in the hospital I saw them and feel pity on them...How come they never learn writing and reading even the basic one as there are a lot of public schools in the country.

I never imagine how they go on their life having this kind of situation...but anyway life is the survival of the fittest seems..a real scenario of combating with day to day life's challenges.

Life sometimes is not fair leaving this people uneducated and the ones who never pays time to help. It  is a very sad scenario. Looking them from afar too worried on some things let me realized that I am still lucky...and others has more painful experience that I am and made me realized life is still a great way to take the challenge and combat it.

A lesson to everyone I want to impart...never ever let studying pass through you instead grab every opportunity to learn while it is there..we can never know what will happen in the future. The world is equipped with the latest trend of human's lifestyle making others difficult to catch up.

Anyway should we found like them...if we can learn to help! it won't hurt helping a needy. A part of our time wasted on them is really never a waste as it helps people in need. Just remember if you were in their shoe and one helps will you feel good about it? Then learn to do the things others wanted you to do for you.

A #teardrops worth for the situation...It really breaks my heart knowing some are very unfortunate not to have given an education...if we have chance study and eradicate the pain of illiteracy.
